What to do about my Toddlers teeth?

I have a almost three year old daughter but her two front teeth are really bad they have cavities and i took her to the dentist and they wanted to put her to sleep and replace them i think shes too small to go through this and i have been told by people that i should just let them fall out on their own because they are the milk teeth not the permanent ones what do you think is best?
